He has developed many successful businesses and is a proven investor in leading edge technology companies.

With his background in construction, technology & project implementation, Wayne has defined our construction offering and is leading our involvement in Health & Safety systems specifically designed for the construction market.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

With a background of large-scale fleet installations and after running many successful ventures over the last 25 years, Mark is in the perfect position to lead the Matrix management team.

His extensive experience in vehicle technology and dealing with large- scale corporate fleets, enables him to succinctly understand how businesses in many vertical sectors can take advantage of Telematics technology.

Mark has managed the successful and rapid growth of Matrix, ensuring that proven technology underpins Matrix’s continued success.

[ SIMON COOPER ]
DIRECTOR

Simon has 20 years’ experience in vehicle electronic technology and distribution management with blue chip companies. He founded Dantrack (later re-named Matrix) in 2001 and brought the first satellite security systems to the UK market with Thatcham accreditation, SOC service, Vehicle Immobilisation and Temperature control. Many of these features are now the cornerstone of the latest Thatcham Cat5 security protocol.

Simon’s consultancy experience includes developing performance management systems for public sector clients such as the Audit Commission.

Simon’s flair for business development, combined with his in-depth knowledge of system integration and implementation, has helped shape the dynamic success of Matrix in the last five years.

SALES DIRECTOR

Geoff spent 23 years at one of the world’s most innovative construction OEMs JCB. He had variety of national & international roles and was responsible for implementing the worlds first Global Can bus integrated Telematics solution in 1997 for JCB.

With his OEM product & service delivery background Geoff has been responsible for developing & implementing OEM factory fit own branding tracking solutions for some of the worlds leading construction equipment manufacturers including: Liebherr, JCB, Dynapac, Bomag & Aggreko.

He also headed the successful Matrix bid for provision of an integrated Telematics solution at London Heathrow where Matrix were awarded principal contractor status with BAA plc He is also responsible for managing Matrix’s extensive dealer network.

SUPPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR

Simons brings a wealth of automotive industry knowledge to Matrix. He’s had over 10 years managing major leasing fleets electrical installation programmes - including national contracts such as Lex & HSBC. His remit has been to implement robust & repeatable processes that enable Matrix to supply our many products against our rigid Service Level Agreements.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SOFTWARE

Ian worked for over 12 years as a lead software developer within BAE, working on many cutting edge MOD software projects. His many skills include C++ programming, Oracle database management, windows .NET, CANbus & proprietary EMS software development. Over the last 5 years Ian has overseen the delivery of Matrix’s many customer branded CANbus solutions, including: Liebherr, Aggreko, Metso Dynapac, Patient Track & Vendman.

TELEMATIC CONSULTANT

Mark has spent over seven years working in the Tracking industry - he brings a wealth of experience in Business Development, Implementation and Account Management with some of the UKs leading companies including; ADT, Balfour Beatty, Exel, GE, South Staffordshire Water, SGB, Leaseway and Anglian Water.

He has delivered many successful implementations that has saved his clients hundreds of thousands of pounds and specialises in ensuring that value and ROI is driven through any project.

His experience ranges from delivering fully integrated branded CANbus solutions to OEMs to fleet management solutions and an in-depth knowledge of the construction industrys.
