Canbus (Controller Area Network Bus) is an Engine Management system developed by Robert Bosch in 1986; it has been deployed in Cars, Trains, and Ships due to the flexibility of the system in machines where accurate measurement of the parts is fundamental.

Canbus uses a series of controllers that can communicate with each other and provide engine management information.  Canbus systems or variations on this standard can be found in virtually every new vehicle in production today.

Why am I going to use it?
